The album is varied, and constantly keeps you guessing as to what will be performed next, but there are also plenty of traditional takes on the classics, such as G's performance of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "Silent Night." These old favourites are given new life by super fresh arrangements.

If you've lived on this planet for more than a few years, you've heard dozens, if not hundreds, of Christmas carols. Perhaps you have several versions of the same song, each performed different ways, in your own collection already.
You don't have any like these, however.
Christmas Glow, the latest CD from G Pinto is something new and inspiring. Utterly original.
How about "Rudolph-the-red-Nosed-Reindeer" done in a bouncy, Bollywood-style, complete with sitar? How about "Here Comes Santa Claus" in a manner that evokes Fiddler on the Roof?
