I love your covering The Devil Went Down To Georgia! A big part of the reason is because Charlie Daniels opened up the world of southern rock to me (which i love to this day) More importantly, it was the beginning of my musical exploration journey at the tender age of 10 years old. This was,in part, the reason i started bluegrass banjo lessons at the same age.
The biggest impact on my life was the influence Charlie's version of Amazing Grace had on my life a year later when i received Volunteer Jam VI on vinyl from a family member. I thought i want to be like these people. They have something in their lives that i want. Also,The CDB's Devil Went... was the very first record i owned that i got at Christmas 1979 from my oldest sister Nancy. DevilWent...was on Million Mile Reflections (1979). Yea Buddy ðŸ¤
Thank You Grenville for that live rendering Bro! Please, keep playing it ok.You do a great job of it...still a crowd pleaser to this day.
